01Who we are
NeuraPick Robotics, Inc. (“NeuraPick”, “we”, “us”) is a Wyoming-incorporated company building autonomous greenhouse-harvesting systems. This policy covers our marketing website at neurapickrobotics.com, the operator console at /console, and the firmware that runs on our robots in customer facilities.
For the purposes of GDPR and similar laws, NeuraPick Robotics, Inc. is the data controller for personal data we collect about you. For agronomy data and robot telemetry gathered inside a customer’s greenhouse, NeuraPick acts as a processor on behalf of the customer.
02Information we collect
From website visitors
- Form submissions. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, email address, company, operation size, target crop, and any free-text details you choose to share.
- Preferences. Light/dark theme selection is stored locally in your browser. See our Cookies Policy.
- Server logs. Standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, page, timestamp) is retained for 30 days for security and abuse-prevention.
From console users
- Account data. Email, name, role, facility assignment, and authentication credentials (hashed).
- Usage data. Pages viewed, actions taken (e.g. acknowledging an alert, dispatching a robot), session timing.
From robots in the field
- Telemetry. Robot pose, motor currents, battery state, fault codes, mission progress, pick counts.
- Agronomy data. Per-plant disease/pest detections, treatment events, ripeness estimates, yield-per-row.
- Vision frames. Snapshots are uploaded only when required for fault diagnosis or model improvement, and only with the customer’s configured opt-in.
03How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to demo requests and provide customer support;
- operate the customer console, including authentication, alerting, and audit logs;
- monitor fleet health, dispatch service when robots need attention, and ship over-the-air firmware updates;
- aggregate non-identifying performance metrics for product improvement;
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer agronomy data to train models served to other customers without explicit, written authorization.
04On-device processing
NeuraPick’s design philosophy is local-first. The vast majority of robot data — YOLO inference, depth fusion, motion planning, fault detection — runs on the NVIDIA Jetson module mounted on the robot and never leaves the customer’s premises. The only data routinely transmitted off-site is rolled-up telemetry needed for fleet management (counts, status, alerts), and only over channels the customer authorizes.
This means: if the connection to our cloud fails, robots continue to operate. It also means the data-minimization story is built into the architecture, not bolted on.
05When we share information
We share personal information only with:
- Sub-processors who help us run the business (hosting, email, error tracking, payment processing). A current list is available on our Compliance page.
- Customers, for data tied to their own facility — we do not commingle facility data across customers.
- Authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or in cases of imminent safety risk.
- Successors, in the event of merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to the protections of this policy.
06Retention
We keep different categories of data for different periods:
| Category | Retention |
|---|---|
| Demo / contact submissions | 24 months from last contact |
| Server logs | 30 days |
| Console account records | Duration of contract + 24 months |
| Robot telemetry (rolled-up) | 36 months |
| Vision frames (opted-in) | 90 days, then anonymized |
| Audit logs | 7 years |
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@neurapickrobotics.com. We will respond within 30 days.
08Cookies
This site uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies and local-storage entries (e.g. theme preference). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. The demo-request form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise, which collects limited interaction signals to compute a fraud-risk score; data sent to Google is governed by Google’s privacy policy. See our full Cookies Policy for details.
09Security
We use industry-standard practices: TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, scoped service accounts, hardware-backed signing keys for firmware, and quarterly third-party penetration testing. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and applicable authorities within 72 hours of confirming any breach of personal data.
10International transfers
NeuraPick’s primary infrastructure is hosted in the United States. Our hardware operations include facilities in the Republic of Georgia and pilot customers in the EU and US. Where personal data is transferred from the EU/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary technical measures (encryption-at-rest, on-device-first processing).
11Children
This site and the operator console are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12Changes
We will post any material changes to this policy on this page and, where required, notify customers in writing. The “Effective” date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
